Throughout the year, many of
our customers (and prospective customers) have inquired about farm
tours.
Here is how we do it: We want to
make your visit a memorable and enjoyable experience - something you'll
fondly recall for many years to come. We put a great deal of thought and
effort into preparing for every tour we give and that means we like to
schedule farm tours at least a week in advance. That's also helpful
because it allows us to carve out a block of time in our busy work
schedule so we can give you our undivided attention.

If you purchase Greenwood Farms

you have a larger group that would like a tour, please call us to
discuss the details.

Clothing: Be sure to dress
for the outdoors (i.e. clothes that will keep you warm/cool and that you
won't mind getting animal kisses on). Most of the tour will be on gravel
paths, but you will be walking in short grass from time to time, so if
you wear shorts in the summer, you may wish to use insect/tick repellant to keep
yourself bug-free.
Shoes: Wear shoes that
protect your feet and that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Hiking
boots or tennis shoes are preferable - sandals, crocs, or flip-flops
aren't recommended.
Other Suggestions: We also
advise sunscreen and insect/tick repellent during the summer months. A ball cap or hat with a
brim may also come in handy. Bring your camera. Most of our animals are
more than happy to have their pictures taken.

-
Please arrive on time. We have made
a special place in our day for your tour and (barring emergencies) we
may not be able to give you a full tour if you arrive late.
-
We want everyone who comes to
Greenwood Farms to have a safe and happy visit. To that end, well
behaved children are always welcome, but behavior that puts your child,
other tour members, or our animals at risk will result in a termination
of the tour, at our discretion.
-
Since we have four large dogs living
on the farm already, we ask that you don't bring your own pets with you.
-
If you have any questions at all,
please feel free to call us at 800-253-6574.
