Body Lotion: Mother Bear’s Body Lotions are a lighter version of our Body Butters. They go on smooth as silk—a nourishing and healing treatment for any type of skin

Hand Salve: Intense moisturizing for hard working hands and feet. We combine nourishing oils, rich shea butter, and moisture promoting beeswax with fragrant botanicals to make a spa-quality treatment.

Lip Balm: A combination of sweet almond oil, shea butter, and beeswax will replenish the driest lips.

Q: Are Mother Bear Botanicals^TM organic?

A: Although not all of our ingredients are certified organic, we do our best to use naturally raised, naturally processed ingredients in all of our products.

Q: Do Mother Bear Botanicals^TM  contain petroleum based products?

A: No. We use a combination of natural, plant-based oils combined with shea or cocoa butter and beeswax as the basis for our products.

Q: If your ingredients are natural, why is the ingredient list so technical?

A: In order to comply with FDA labeling requirements, all ingredients have to be listed with their International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients names. INCI is a system of names for ingredients in soaps, cosmetics, and the like, based on scientific names and other Latin and English words.

Q: What kind of preservative do you use in  your products?

A: Mother Bear Botanicals use natural preservatives: Vitamin E Oil and/or Grapeseed Oil.

Q: Will my Mother Bear Botanicals^TM  keep as long as commercial body care products?

A: Since we don’t use the powerful preservatives found in commercial products, Mother Bear Botanicals don’t have a seemingly indefinite shelf life. However, you can expect your products to last up to six months after opening. To keep fresh longer, just store your Mother Bear products in the refrigerator.

Q: Are Mother Bear Botanicals^TM  for medicinal use?

A: Although many of the herbs and oils we use have holistic uses, We at Mother Bear Botanicals make no medical claims for the products we use and sell. The essential oils and other ingredients contained in our products are not intended for use in the treatment for specific medical conditions. Some essential oils are contraindicated during pregnancy and for persons allergic to pollen or plant products. Please seek advice from your health care provider before using any of our products if your are pregnant or suffer from plant-related allergies.
